Who, What, Where is EMRA????
Founded over 30 Years ago........
The Eastern Motor Racing Association was formed by a committee of local sports car clubs to provide a sanctioning body to sponsor the then growing interest in club racing. Since the early days, club racing and EMRA have seen tremendous growth and advancements. Since its formation, EMRA has become one of the premier sanctioning bodies in the Northeast. Our goal is to provide top competition, without sacrificing the enjoyment. With EMRA, it’s important to remember that you're racing and trialing for the FUN of it!!
We sanction Race and Time Trial
Events.........
A weekend often includes a day of Sedan,GT & Formula Racing and a day of Time Trialing. With a few dates including an endurance racing event. WE are the originators of the 4 hour twilight endurance races.
It’s not important that you have the hot car, new car, best car;
but rather a car you want to drive.
EMRA runs their events in the
Northeast........
and can be found during the season visiting such tracks
as Pocono, Lime Rock, NJMP, and Summit Point. Typically EMRA will stay for the
weekend when track scheduling will allow.

Affiliated Clubs of
EMRA: The history of EMRA started with the vision of seven independent
car clubs. Though each had their own seasons of autocrosses, rallies and other
agendas; they yearned track time. Event costs prohibited any one of them from
putting on a track event alone, but together they could.
Thus the
Eastern Motor Racing Association was formed.
Club contact information and membership applications have been provided
below. Membership to any one of the clubs is optional.
Support the clubs and keep the ideals
of the founding membership a part of the EMRA.
