
Licensing Information
All drivers (except first time drivers) competing in EMRA events will need an EMRA Time Trial or Race license. First time drivers will receive a Time Trial license after successfully completing EMRA's Time Trial School. Drivers may apply for the Time Trial School during registration (just check the box indicating that you want to register for the school).
Drivers who wish to compete in the Sprint or Endurance racing series may apply for a Race License after successfully completing the EMRA Race School or a race school from a recognized organization and submitting a current Medical Examination form. Endurance Series drivers must have competed in at least two sprint races before entering an endurance race. Competitiors with licenses from any recognized sanctioning body may apply for an EMRA license or obtain a temporary weekend license at Registration.

Any competitor with a license from a previous year will need to renew their race
or time trial licenses. Remember to complete the appropriate forms below and send
them in before your first event of the year.

2012 Time Trial License Renewal: $50
Time Trial School $75
2012 Race License Renewal: $75
Temporary Weekend LIcense: $25
For competitors with a competition license from a recognized motorsport organization.

Medical Exam Requirements (Race Licenses Only)
A medical examination form (completed and signed by your physician) must be submitted before a race license is issued to any driver. Medical forms must be renewed according to the following schedule:
- Drivers less than 40 years old must renew their Physical every five years
- Drivers that are at least 40 years old must renew their Physical every three years
- Drivers that are at least 50 years old must renew their Physical every two years
- Drivers that are at least 60 years old must renew their Physical every 12 months
Medical examination forms from recognized sanctioning bodies will be considered for this requirement.
