
Working and Volunteering
EMRA is a volunteer run organization, and we are always on the lookout for enthusiastic workers to help us run each event. Whether you are new to this side of racing or are a seasoned veteran, EMRA welcomes your help! All volunteers earn credit towards free track time with EMRA.
Available Duties
- Registration
Help welcome our entrants at registration! Duties include collecting entrant registrations, verifying drivers' eligibility, assigning car numbers, and welcoming drivers to EMRA at the beginning of the day.

- Timing and Scoring
Keep our races ticking at timing and scoring. Operating the timing equipment, posting session times, and organizing the starting grid are just a few of timing and scoring's duties.

- Corner Workers, Flaggers, and Pit Marshall
Get right up to the action as an EMRA corner worker. Corner workers are the communication lifeline that keep the drivers aware of what's happening on-track. As an added bonus, corner workers get the best seat in the house for getting close to the racing!

- Tech Inspection
Our technical inspectors need your help to make sure cars are safe and classed properly. Check out the machinery by helping out at tech inspection.

- Time Trial Instructors
EMRA is always on the lookout for friendly, experienced instructors to help our new drivers get up to speed. Join our team of instructors and help develop the new generation of time trialers and racers!

Our end of day awards ceremony is just as important as the race it follows. Help us pick out our trophies and make sure the drinks get to the track.

Did you say "Free Track Time"?
Yes! Workers are eligible for one free event for every three days worked. Some positions are eligible for additional track time and/or credit.
