Rich LaBarbera was a multi-time EMRA GT-1 race and TT championship winner in the 1990's. Known for a series of brutally fast red Fox body Mustangs and his very generous and outgoing personality, he eventually moved on to a career in Trans-Am before retiring from racing in 2003 and moving to Florida. His wife Linda was a multi-time EMRA TT Champion as well in the same time frame.
Rich passed on Sunday, January 28, 2017 - coincidentally on the Sebring race weekend, which is where he made his TA debut.
He is survived by his three daughters.
